WorkSafe must be notified when particular hazardous work is undertaken or certain work-related events (notifiable events) occur.
Particular hazardous work notification
The Health and Safety in Employment Regulations (1995) requires particular hazardous work to be notified. It defines “notifiable work” for diving as being “any construction work….in which any person breathes air that is or has been compressed or a respiratory medium other than air”.
To fulfil this requirement, WorkSafe requires any construction diving work to be notified.
Notifiable events
WorkSafe must be notified when certain work-related events (notifiable events) occur.
