On 24 September 2013, an employee was investigating a noise coming from the timber moulding machine. He followed his team leader into the restricted area where the machine was located. At he was exiting the restricted area, he used part of the machine to pull himself up. His middle finger on his left hand became caught in a lug on the conveyor belt resulting in a crushing injury and lacerations to his middle finger.
